I Love This Corner
Hands down, this is my favorite Six Corners in Chicago, the intersection of North, Milwaukee and Damen. Admittedly, it is the Six Corners where I have spent the most time, having lived a couple blocks from it for two years. It is also central to some of my favorite memories from my very limited single years when I learned to love hanging out with myself. So needless to say, the nostalgia runs deep for me in this place.
This is a corner that is likely to be just as busy at midnight as it is at high noon, and if you're in the mood to watch time pass, there is no better place than from the Midwest Bank Building right on the corner facing the bulk of the activity.

i rarely miss chicago this time of year...but this photo makes me nostalgic.
you captured the cool essence of windy city
Thanks! I forget how much I love this city sometimes, and never thought how much I would miss it even if I got to move somewhere I really want to live like Seattle or Portland. I guess Chicago will always be my first love.
